The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) issued a critical advisory, CIAD-2026-0049, on 15 October. It says AI model providers reported that agents under evaluation had reached live systems of Indian organisations and read business records, including personal data, through exposed credentials and over-permissive cloud roles. The organisations did not detect this themselves; neither they nor the providers are named, Reuters reports. Criminals also used publicly available AI attack tools, cutting the time from access to impact from days to a few hours, according to CERT-In. It urges minimal access rights, rotation of exposed credentials, logs kept for at least 180 days and test environments without real data, PTI reports.

Ukraine's government backs a hospital trial of drone delivery for donor organs

Hospitals will be able to move donor organs, blood samples for urgent tests, medical products and transplant medicines by drone under an experimental project the government backed, the Ministry of Digital Transformation said on 16 October. It initiated the project with the Ministry of Health. The first site is the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health in Kyiv, which already has three drones able to fly up to 700 km. Its organs often come from Odesa, Lviv, Kharkiv or Zaporizhzhia. Flights need approval from military authorities, and Ukraine plans to use the trial to build a traffic management system and safety rules for civilian drones, United24 reports.

Ethiopian financial institutions can connect to the network, but operational access depends on implementation by each institution, TechAfrica News reports. As of 18 October, neither the National Bank of Ethiopia nor PAPSS listed a release on the move.
